Well everyone here I am with my first blog. I think setting up a new blog is more intimidating than leaving the country for two years. But here I am preparing both. I am two weeks away from my departure for Philly where I will meet all the other Botswana Peace Corps volunteers. I am just hoping that they too are a little bit nervous, anxious, scared and mostly excited. I will spend three days in Philly then we are all of on the 17 hour flight to South Africa. I will eventually make the bus ride to Botswana where I will meet my host family whom I will be living with for the next three months. I don't know all the specifics of what to expect. I do know that I have been awaiting this opportunity for so long and I can't wait to live out my dream to live in Africa! I have been so blessed this past month to have special time to spend with friends and family. I have gone on road trips, out to countless dinners and to many concerts. I will cherish all these memories while I am gone and am very thankful to have all these special people apart of my life. You all too will be with me in Botswana sharing with all my new adventures. So despite a few more trips to Target I feel ready. I know everything in my life has prepared me for this exact moment. I look forward to keeping you all updated as frequently as possible. But it is Africa so I cannot make any promises to the consistency of thechnology and electricity.
Untill next time.
Peace!
Untill next time.
Peace!

Yay! I found you! I'll hook you up to my links and check it often ... anxiously awaiting the next post! ha. You are a blessing and I will miss you. Have an adventure of a lifetime!
17 hour flight?!?!?!?! I'm so very sorry ...
Nat,
I am so proud of you! Even though I will miss you like crazy, I know you will be doing something you love. I'm jealous of all the adventures you are going to have in the next two years and the people that will get to be apart of it. I have always admired you for your passion and desire to not sit still and be content. Take that passion and confidence and do great things in Africa...then return to us in the states. I love you! Molls

May God richly bless the desires of your heart. Be safe -- ok, that's my only mom comment. :-) But I want you to know that I am praying for you and am incredibly proud of you! You are making a huge difference in the Kingdom! I LOVE YOU!!! When you come home -- I will play Mall Madness with you, but this time I will win! Love you, Amy
I know you don't have much opportunity to update ... but on the off chance that you are able to check messages, I just wanted to say that I am thinking of you! I hope Botswana has been wonderful so far and that you are making friends easily. :) Blessings!!!
